With a multidisciplinary creative background, Gemma believes strongly in creating memorable, soulful experiences through varied creative facets.

Having grown up on Orcas Island, WA, she then earned a BFA in Integrated Design from Parsons School of Design in 2011. In 2017, she was awarded the Swarovski Scholarship to achieve the title of GIA Graduate Gemologist.

Gems: As a third generation antique dealer and innate history nerd, she loves to study the intricacies that jewels carry as they pass through time. She sees herself as a caring steward to a jewel’s long lifespan- be it a newly created piece, or an ancient one. Gemma searches for singular antiques nationally & internationally, and designs around gemstones that have great character.

Design: She applies the same philosophy of creating eternal, timeless design by developing brands and spaces in a holistic experience- oriented approach.

After spending 12+ years working professionally as a jeweler and creative director for other companies, in 2020 she decided to open her own jewelry atelier and private design consultancy firm.

Her lifelong dedication is to the arts, to bring beauty and meaning to our lives.
